The importance of using key phrases and not just single words in your content is because search engines are looking for key phrases now. If you are using certain words that describe your topic, you also need to use other related terms in order to get more exposure on the internet. In the old days, all you had to do was just include your keyword in the title and description but this will no longer suffice as the search engines have made a lot of changes to the way they scan content.
